Danchel has great customer service! Let me start by saying that I found it easy to install and really enjoy having this awning on my truck camper.After breaking in a huge wind gust while setting up, my awning was destroyed. I was so sad as I really liked this awning. I sent pictures and explained the situation to Danchel, and they very quickly sent me a new one! Great service, and good product! I love the added shade and rain protection while truck camping. It takes a couple of times to get the set up just right, but once you set it up a couple of times, its a breeze. Recommend, especially if you are looking for a company that stands behind their product and has great customer service.

Arrived early. I purchased the 6.5 ft by 6.5 ft for my Honda Element 03. Packaged well. Great value for the money. I was able to install this by myself. Instructions were provided, but not the best. I could honestly figure it out without them. If installing on rack bars that go across the car (passenger to driver side) you will need extra hardware. I attached mine to a mini roof rack so I did take a trip to ACE hardware for some extra locking nuts, but all other hardware used was what they provided. It even came with two wrench which I actually had to use!Overall I'm very happy. I will update in the future after some use.Once it's up, it seems sturdy. The picture is not the best since the car was in my way of rolling out the canopy. My first try using one and I have it popped up and standing in about 3 minutes. I was about to put it away in about 1 minute.

Not a Name brand that we usually see, but for what it is worth, it works and looksl like those name brands out there! I used it on my 2005 4 Runner with OEM rails and just had to get better brakets, but its worth it!!

It was very easy to install, all parts(bolts/combination wrench)were included and packaged well.Very sturdy, I was able to set it up and break it down alone within 5 minutes.I highly recommend it!

I installed this on my 5th wheel toy hauler. Have used it daily for almost a year. Fit perfectly on my deck wven though it wasn't designed for it. Recently had an issue that was no fault of seller. They went above and beyond to remedy my issue. The awning is simple and durable, don't hesitate to get it. If something happens to it, there very easy to deal with. Buy with confidence, no need to spend top dollar for something that is just as good if not better.

Love this, install was pretty simple. Not as big as I would like, but is great and survived a rain storm, eorh no issue..I set up and take down myself with no issues.

The packaging was terrible, loaded with tape as if it were a returned item or something.I would return this if I hadn't just spent a couple of hours setting this up to install on my roof rack, and I don't want to take the time to take it off, repackage it, and schedule a pick-up or drop it off...I wish Danchel could come to take this off my roof rack and deal with it.The hardware that came isn't compatible with my prinsu roof rack so I had to go to the hardware store to pick up different carriage bolts, which is fine.Installation wasn't too difficult - definitely would've been easier with help, but it was just me, so it took a while to move my things around on the roofrack to fit the L- brackets, plus going to the store.I didn't want to open it up until it was installed because I knew I'd have a hard time putting it back together by myself while it's on the ground, but I wish I did.When I finally had it up, I was stoked to finally open it. But only to be extremely disappointed.- There is a rip at the stitching on one side and a random hole on the other.- It is uneven when pulled out, so one side has longer fabric than the other, so it's not taut. It just looks weird.- The poles came already scratched up (the ones that stand up), I forgot to take pictures, and one is slightly bent.- The fabric quality is laughable - with black stains everywhere. The fabric of an umbrella is stronger than this.I understand this is cheap, but it still should at least work. I got this for camping in case it rains. There's no point in having an awning if there are holes in it 😐 Good thing I don't plan on setting this up every time I camp.I would stay away - I do not recommend it at all. Worst amazon purchase I've had ever.I would spend the extra $50-$200 bucks on a better quality one if you plan to use it regularly.

This is an awesome product. The universal hdwr it comes with wouldn’t work for my application(I knew this at purchase), so I fabricated my own parts. Went together very easily. Soon as I was done mounting the awning, I opened up the cover and set it up in like 2 minutes. Legs and bracing are light weight aluminum with adjustable legs that lock in place with a slight twist. Very happy with this awning.

The product seems to be great so for. The awning material is not as thick as a cotton/poly ripstop canvas but does the job. The PVC bag is heavy duty and comes in black. Most of all, I would recommend buying from this seller as the customer support was phenomenal. After UPS losing the first awning we ordered, they shipped another one instantly and followed up with us until we received the second one. 5 stars for their great customer experience!
