I live in the Pacific Northwest which has very damp winters. I have to keep my vehicles outside, so it a very important to put desicants inside to prevent mold and mildew. I have used Damp Rid for many years. It is highly effective in keeping my truck and SUV dry; I would not use any other brand.

Try buying this at the store and you couldn't afford it. This mega size is the only way to keep all eight of our Damp Rid containers filled throughout the house. We have never had a mold issue or even a musty smell with this amazing product!

When I purchase DampRid in the store, the absorbent materials are nice round beads. The large refills I received are more like flakes but they work. They are just a little messier to clean up when refilling into the small canisters. I prefer the beads.

I live in a humid place and have used Damprid for years. The closet Damprid hangers are nice but can be a bit pricey. I ordered these large containers of the product to refill the 10 oz containers that I put on the floor of my closets. They help reduce the effects of humidity on my clothing and linens.
