Made with hardened 420J2 steel, these scissors are extremely sharp and can be used to cut small bones, wires, vegetables and herbs. Integrated teeth on the inside of the handles are for cracking lobster or nuts and for stripping herbs. One outer blade edge can be used for scaling fish and the opposite side is for peeling carrots. The end of the handles feature a screwdriver and bottle cap opener. These handy scissors can be used left or right handed and come apart for easy and thorough cleaning. The handles are ergonomically designed for comfortable use and made of strong glass fiber filled polypropylene. The scissors measure 9 inches in length.

Dalla Piazza Kitchen Scissor is the best scissor I ever owned. I rated a 5-star. Very happy with it. This is my second pair of scissor, very good quality, sharp, use it for everything, from cutting lobster tail shells and crab shells to veggies. It’s rust proof, last a long time. I replaced this knife for the one had for 10 years. and I only replaced it because the plastic/rubber disintegrated on handles. I took it to my garden shed and will use it outside to cut things.

This is a cheap imitation. It came with a small piece of uncut plastic hanging on the plastic handle. After a few days, the blades are rusted. The real Dalla Piazza product will not rust. This one is a fake.

We've owned these shears for five years and they still work like new. Hand fits nicely in the handle, cuts well. They come apart easily for washing, either by hand or in the dish washer. Getting them for a Christmas present for my sister in law.
