I purchased the DaierTek Door Pin Switches, 12V, for use in my RV. They seem like quality switches and would be easy enough to wire up.The problem I had was that the spring tension was too strong for what I intended to use them for, RV cabinet doors. The spring is design for something heavy to shut against it to open the circuit, causing the load (light) to go off! A cabinet door or even an RV entry door (probably, unless it is manually closed with a latch) would not be heavy enough to open the circuit on this switch. Vehicle hoods/PUp tailgates/something with weight would work with these switches, but anything lighter would not be able to shut completely using the switch or open the circuit with these switches. If that is what you intend to use them for, heavy closures, then they should work appropriately for you.

Based on other reviews, I decided to try these instead of the other options on the market. The screw hole just lined up (barely), but it does without having to drill another hole, which I did for the other door when that switch failed and a bought another version on Amazon. I cut the plunger to the last line, and it works as expected. Will update if I have any quality/reliability problems in the future

My son's jeep has the courtesy lights switches but when we bought they had been removed. I found some cheaper switches for the passenger side (driver and passenger sides are diff switches) and the original switch didn't last long at all, maybe a year.I found these and rolled the dice. The, shall I call it the plunger, is much to long for the jeep but a cut off wheel works wonders.I cut off the plunger nearly flush with the rubber molding and installed it w/ a #6 x 1/2 screw and viola the lights work.while not its intention use these seem to work and they are much higher quality than what I bought from another company.
