Our daughter has not had much interest in trying to tell time until this clock. She can tell time on it and likes it!

This is a cute clock but it arrived with the glass shattered. If something is fragile please package it accordingly.

My preschooler is learning to read time and asked for a clock for his room. Put in one AA battery (not included), set the time, and it was good to go. The time has been accurate since so it is keeping time correctly. I like that the hour hand and minute hand are different colors and different sizes. It makes it easier for my preschooler to differentiate the hands rather than one just being shorter. The color blocking is a nice feature for the hours as it helps my preschooler know the correct hour and not jump to the next hour like he has with a regular clock. He is also grasping the "60 seconds to a minute" concept from the outer ring of numbers. May seem busy to an adult eye, but to young kids learning time the extra color and second numbers are useful for learning. Has been a confidence booster for him and he is excited to read "his" clock to me. I already had a hook in the wall so I did not use the included wall hanging clip. It looks like it has five small nails to secure it to the wall, so easy enough to use a command strip if you don't want to put any holes in your wall.

I hope analog clocks never go away and I want my daughters to grow up knowing how to use them. We got this so that my daughters, 3 and 1, could get some practice telling time the old fashioned way. They have digital clocks too, but I like being able to say things like "When that big hand gets to twelve, nap is over and you can come out", or "Look at the clock. The red hand is at seven so it's time to go to bed". Makes time so much more real for a little one when they are watching the trudge of a hand rather than sequential flashes in the shape of numbers. The numbers are easy to read and colorful and I have lifted my toddler up so she can look at the small numbers around the edge and tell me exactly what time it is according to her clock. I highly recommend.

I love this clock, it’s easy to read, my child can tell time on their own with it and learn about various ways of indicating time. The colors are vibrant and cheerful

Ordered this Telling Time clock for my 6-year-old to learn time. I solidly 100% recommend this clock. It has a large face at 12 inches, so it is both easy for my child to see all the time/number details AND easy for me to show him visually ways to learn which are fun and relatable to him (numbers and colors). The clock is SILENT!! No ticking to distract anyone! The numbers are large, clear, and easy to read. I love that the clock is colorful yet simple, so it makes a nice decorative piece in my kid's room. This is a nice looking clock. Oh, it needs one AA battery which is not included. The hands on the clock come in two colors: black and blue. Blue for the minute hand and black for the hour. The color blue is used for both the minute hand AND the actual minute numbers 1-60/00 and blue squares every 5 minutes. Then, the black hour hand coincides with the black numerical hour numbers 1-12. The black hand says "hour" and the blue hand says "minute".The hour circumference or circle is broken down to individual colors for each hour. For example, the hour between 12 and 1 is red. The hour between 1 and 2 is orange. And so forth. The clock also has an inner circle which breaks down an hour in 15-minute increments to learn terms such as "quarter past" or "quarter to" for 45 minutes.I really love this clock and so does by son. It also makes a nice gift for the classroom or another child. Nicely packaged and presentable.
