These forceps are solid and hold on to the work at hand. I work in a metal finishing shop, I use them to hold razer blades and pull vacuum plugs. The carbide inserts grip really well, they are just what I needed.

The feel, look, and length is superb. The anti corrosion properties are fair at best. I use this instrument to unhook flies from fish caught in SW Florida. I know the water is salty, but I think the manufacturer has exaggerated its claims regarding corrosion resistance. Not impressed being made from medical grade stainless steel. Nevertheless, I spray regularly with corrosion blocking products to keep it at least “serviceable.”
