These were made of poor quality glass that had divots, little indentations that did not necessarily amount to a hole, at least not yet. The jars would not take a standard mason jar lid either. These got returned and the next attempt from another manufacturer was more successful with glass that had no visible imperfections and the lids fit.

I got these to use to make boba tea. They say they are canning jars and can tolerate boiling water, however, I added only near boiling water and the glass shattered in my hand. I wouldn't use these in a microwave or a dishwasher or with anything hot. I will still use them to make the drinks in but I will have to brew the tea in another container. These definitely are not good for that. Otherwise, I love the size and shape, just wish they were actually what they stated.

Very useful, easy to clean. I use them with my small vac. sealer for nuts and seeds, etc. Very well packaged and secure for shipping.
