I like the etched design of the glass for candles, because it will refract the light of the flame nicely.Old fashion 2 piece top though.

These canning jars are just as reliable as others I’ve used. They fit most of my wide-mouth rings, and I didn’t have any issues getting the lids to seal during canning. The bands screw on easily, and the jars are simple to clean. The decorative glass design makes them perfect for gift-giving. The glass is thick and sturdy—so far, I haven’t broken any! We also use them as drinking glasses, and they’re the perfect size for that. They clean easily in the dishwasher, too. A solid, versatile option for both canning and everyday use.

Even though the jars could be found any many stores they were priced fair and were well packaged so that none of the jars broke during shipping- the convenience of having a quality product shipped at a fair price was what made this purchase excellent!!!!

These are close to the right size and they are advertised as wide mouth canning jars. They are actually a hair more narrow than the standard wide mouth canning jars. Their lids are too narrow for other canning jars and the lids for other jars will not tighten appropriately. Also if you are using fermentation weights don't even bother. I used a glass fermentation weight that fits normal wide mouth canning jars and ended up shattering one of these. The glaas with was slightly wider than the jar could handle.

These 16oz. jars are practical and pretty!I use them to store food/condiments that I purchased in a bigger jar. I also use them as casual drinking glasses. They are easy to hold and not too big. The lids are very nice and secure also....and I can just put them in the dishwasher. My favorite.

Mason jars use to bounce off the floor when you dropped them. Now, they just break.

The overall product are very good. They are good looking and sure we will use a lot. And fast delivery.However, the insert of lid has very sharp edge. it cut my finger when unpacking. I have to file the edge all 6 inserts. What a pity for Mason.
