I have been using this POOLNEAT CX200XRE Pool Filter Cartridge for about a month and just cleaned it yesterday. It seemed to do a good job holding back any debris that got past the pool pump filter. I had no trouble cleaning it by spraying it off with a hose and definitely got a boost in water pressure/vacuum performance after the cleaning so it was catching quite a bit. I also didn't notice any wear and the filter basically looked the same as new after cleaning it. I hope to get at least another 5 months out of it but will update if any issues arise.Overall, I am happy with this pool filter cartridge and would get again if at a better value/sale.

It was time to replace our Hayward filter cartridge but the price was pretty high so I started looking around for a cheaper solution.I found this poolneat filter and figured I'd give it a shot.It fit perfectlyThe water in our pool is crystal clearGreat flow through the filter systemSaved money with this over ordering the OEM brand filter.I'll stick with this brand moving forward as I can't tell the difference between the OEM cartridges and these filters.

You've got to have pool filters. They're never an outlay that anyone enjoys making but they're in the same realm as regular oil changes in your car, new print cartridges for your printer, etc. The trick is to get it done as economically as possible while not skimping on quality.Thankfully, there are now plenty of aftermarket pool filters available. The top dozen or so brands produce products that are equal to--or in some cases superior to--OEM filters. POOLNEAT isn't exactly a 'household name' but they're definitely in this category. They're one of the brands I look for when I'm shopping for replacement filters. They're economically priced, well made and are a perfect replacement for the Unicel C-9442 filters I need. They work just as well and at a substantially more palatable price. That's a winner in my book. Recommended.

I cleaned my original Hayward filter every 1-2 weeks for a year to maintain good flow, but it was time for a replacement at the 1 year mark. This filter fit my Hayward pump filter housing just like the original filter. Flow has been good with this PoolNeat filter. Seems to be a good 'off brand' replacement. No issues.If it fails prematurely, or I run into unexpected issues with it within the year, I will update my review.

Upon removing this filter, it looks just as good as the factory one that came with my filter canister. I love that it has several rings around the filter to hold it in place.When I inspected the dimensions it all looked as expected, then I looked inside the filter and noticed the inside rings seemed a bit high, I tried flipping it over and still it was slightly too high and I wasn't able to cap it back.I got a bit nervous bc it was supposed to fit. So I put my hand inside the filter and pushed the ring down. I was so glad the inner ring moves because once I pushed it down a bit the filter now fit and I was able to cap it back. It is just as sturdy and the fukter pleats look just as tight. It was a better price than others and this will be my new go to filter on an annual basis. What a great find.
