As the Pics 02 & 03 show, the Poolneat pool filter did a good job filtering the fine debris and algae from my pool water. It is a perfect replacement for the more expensive Hayward filter at a much lower price. My only issue was the top center brace inside the filter was not securely attached and was knocked loose by the center attachment rod when I first inserted the filter into the filter housing. I had to use a length of PVC pipe to re-center the brace...which was not a big deal. 4 stars...

Good quality and rerfect replacement for a Hayward 1750 filter. Size is identical to the oem version and feels very solid and well made. I'm on my first run with it. Let's see how it performs for the next few months. So far so good.

I ordered this filter because it is a compatible replacement for my OEM filter element.Comparing this to the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) element that I am replacing, the construction and quality seems the same. It has the plastic framework in the inside of the filter element, and the banding on the outside. The filter filter fabric looks to be the same amount. This filter element is quite a bit less expensive than the OEM cartridge. A good alternative to the OEM filter cartridge.
