I recently developed piriformis syndrome from playing overworked desk jockey/evening warrior in my “perimenopausal muscles be like wut?” years (and maybe you have, too? It often gets misdiagnosed as spinal sciatica), and I needed something to allow me to sit in any state other than screaming agony when using my sit/stand workstation. Dudes, my kidney stones hurt less than this dumb muscle spasm disorder. This cushion is freaking bomb. I have bought a LOT of cheaper memory foam cushions over the years, and I wish I would have paid a kabillion dollars for this one from the start. It’s spendy, but if you’re buying it as a medical aid, it’s worth every penny. Takes my pain on bad days from a 9 to a 7, and that ain’t nothin’.

I recently had a proctectomy ( I now have a Ken doll rear end) and I was told cushions like a donut are bad for recovery as they spread your rear and can lead to issues. This seat has a firm cushion that supports my rear and doesn’t cause any pain. Since my surgery I have been able to go back to work with this cushion giving me great support. Easy to move from chair to chair and take into the office or use at home.

I am 6'2" and about 210 pounds and just purchased a new desk chair and sad to find out that they arent putting much into the cushions these days. Was having immense tailbone pain within 2 hrs of sitting and at the end of a long day it was horrible (I'm at my computer all day for work). I purchased this and it has cured it. It really has made a noticeable difference which is all you can really hope for. I know some other reviewers have complained about the winged "tips" near the back of the seat but they haven't bothered me at all. Grips on the bottom do a really good job of keeping it in place. I probably do 1-2 adjustments in a given day. All around solids product and the gray color matches my chair perfectly. Would recommend!

I have three Tarlov Cysts that become incredibly painful if I sit for extended periods of time in my office chair at work. This particular chair is hard and not comfortable so I bought this cushion to try out. The cushion is well made and overall comfortable however it does not provide adequate pressure or pain relief as I had hoped it would, but, it is better than not having anything. I will keep the cushion as my chair will not be replaced any time soon.

I decided to upgrade my old office chair cushion. I had seen these online before but stayed away due to the price. I saw a review on there by a girl that has had it for 2 yrs and still loves it. It is true what people say, you get what you pay for. This is a great cushion, comfortable, soft yet sturdy and cradles my upper thighs and rear end. I have not had it that long but started loving it on the first day. This cushion is a little larger than my old one and has a better shape. Very functional and forget I am sitting on a cushion. It doesn't move too much either, I only reposition it maybe once a day. I would recommend this product.

I have used this cushion for several weeks now. Ultimately, it stopped the lower back pain I was experiencing in my car. I spend a lot of time working in my car every day- it's virtually my office. I'm super excited it has stopped my back pain! Win! However, it's super thick and causes my head to almost touch the roof of my car which is an older Rav4. This is very awkward to drive around so high up in the vehicle. They sell this as being able to use in the car. In the morning the memory foam is hard as a rock and takes a while to form around my bottom. All in all I'm still using it since it's solved my pain issue but it sucks to feel uncomfortable driving around with it... what can ya do

It may look cheap, but it helped relieve my tailbone pain.Update. I was using the pillow for less than 2 months and the inner material has torn even though I was careful with it (because the pillow looked cheap). Seller didn't reply my message about this problem. I don't recommend you to buy it, because it won't last long.

I finally found a cushion that is supportive. Most cushions that I bought did not really provide much lower back lumbar support. This cushion supports the butt in that the two ends curl slightly upwards. This design is ingenious as it mimics the shape of our behinds. The Cushion does not sink all the way to the bottom. It is relatively dense to support my weight. It is not cheap but it provides relief and that is worth its price. It also relieves tailbone fatigue.

We eat dinners in the family room while watching a movie and sit on an old couch with a coffee table that raises to table height. I am 77 years old and sitting on the worn and flattened cushions of the couch was causing pain in my hips so that it was difficult to walk for a bit when I got up from the couch. By the end of a 2-hour movie, my legs were uncomfortable, beginning to ache, and felt like the blood supply was cut off from them because the couch cushion flattened so that the frame of the couch was hitting the back of my thigh.Since we haven't found time to get out to find a replacement couch, I turned to Amazon to find a temporary solution. I ordered this "butt cushion" in addition to 4 others in hopes that one of them would relieve the discomfort of sitting on our couch. I wanted something firm enough to overcome the flattening of the old couch cushions, but, it trying the different cushions, I found that shape and size is also important. Since I weigh 112 lbs., most of the cushions I ordered were firm enough, but the support offered by each was different. Some flattened after a short time, and some just weren't very comfortable because of the shape.This cushion is more expensive than the others I tried, but saving money at the expense of less comfort wasn't an option. I have been using this cushion every night for over a week, and no longer have the hip pain when I get up from the couch. The leg discomfort is also gone. The 4 other cushions have been returned. Since I weigh 112 lbs., I can't vouch for how this cushion would hold up to more weight, but it works for me and I am happy with it.UPDATE 07/30/24:I have been using this "butt cushion" every evening for at least 3 hours for the last 2 months, and I wouldn't want to do without it. In this time, it has not flattened at all, is very supportive, and perfectly fits the contour of my butt and thighs so I no longer get pains in my hips and legs from sitting on our old couch. You would think that finding a suitable cushion to sit on would be an easy task. In my experience of trying different cushions, I found that the perfect cushion is a very personal thing. Not only does it have to supply a comfortable firmness for support, but it must conform to your individual "butt contour". It is often necessary to try more than one to find the one that is perfect for you. This cushion is all that for me.UPDATE 12/16/24:I have now been using this cushion on my couch to sit on for over 6 months. It is still as supportive as it was when new, and has not flattened at all. Since using it, I have not had pains in my hips or legs after sitting on the couch. The cushion is so comfortable, we have put off getting a new couch. I suppose this is the only down side to having a comfortable cushion to sit on.I hope this review was helpful for you.

I have a Cushion Lab cushion that I have been using for 4 months here in the US. It is awesome and worth every penny. It is so good, I wanted to order one for my mum for her birthday. She is in the UK and there was only one option on Amazon UK (in the US there is a variety of colors and 2 sizes) and just going on the picture, it looks a little thinner than the one I have...but I cannot confirm this. I also work in International retail and I get it - we cannot offer the variety that we can in the US - so that didn't bother me too much - but holy hotcakes - DOUBLE the price??? Yes, 2 times what I paid. For that reason alone, I have dropped my star rating. My cushion lab cushion here in the US is completely awesome. My mum, who is 94, seems to like it - and I hope it is twice as good as mine :)

I bought their extra dense lumbar cushion and also bought this - it's changed my world. I have a couple of blown disks in lower spine and constant sciatica. These cushions have really worked for me. I upgraded my office chair to a secretlabs at the same time - but it's the lumbar cushion and seat cushion that have changed my world - these really help me sit and work without pain. Remarkable change over what I've been used to the last few years.
