I tried out about 25 pins and found that they did stick a bit like a lot of reviewers complained about. The pins caught more readily on batiks than other types of fabric. I also found out that they smoothed out on the second or third attempt, so any burrs on the point must be quite small if stabbing the fabric smoothed them out. They're not as sharp as my good straight pins, but I think they'll work fine for basting. I hope to use them for quite a while.

These work great! Easily slide through the fabric and easy to unpin as you quilt. Getting ready to order more!

These are really good pins for quilt basting. I previously used smaller ones (about 1") and always found them to be somewhat problematic, but these are great. Sharp, and the longer length makes it easier on my hands.

These quilting pins are great. Perfect size, bend easily, holds material together easily. Value of price can’t be beat.

I hope I just got a bad batch of pins but used them for the first time last night to baste a quilting project and they would not pierce the fabric. They did not have a point but were flat. Total waste of money and time due to having to pull up the project that was taped to the floor to wait on new pins to be ordered and arrive. Don't know how they get by with selling these.

These bent pins are so much easier to use than the straight ones. They are sharp and close fairly easy. A little pricy but sooooooooooo worth it!
