Fantastic! I have custom window treatments made from heavy fabric and these pins hold the tufts at the corners securely. They are very easy to work with, big and strong enough to hold the fabrc in place. Where I use them is hidden, underneath the folds, and I don't intend on removing them until I change the draperies. Just a side comment based on how I saw other reviewers using them, - they do poke big holes and I personally wouldn't use them on clothing unless I could slip them through the weave.

If you are looking for some awesome, giant safety pins, these are exactly what you need. I got them to hold my tablet weaving cards in the correct position together, but they would also be great to organize any large group of items with holes in them. (At the moment, I'm using one of them to hold all of the others.) The length from the inside of the loop to where the pin meets the clasp is approximately 3 7/8 inches.They are super sturdy and aren't going to bend out of shape during normal use. I estimate that the wire is 2.5 mm thick. If you are planning to use them to pin fabric, such as holding a shawl closed, be aware that they will make a fairly large hole in the fabric, but should work fine for knitwear or loose woven fabrics. They have a super, solid feel to them and I recommend them.

I bought these to keep my couch cushion cover in place. They are really big which I love. Less safety pins to use.

I saw these huge, gold, safety pins that would look perfect on my scarves, my cloth jackets, and lots of wool items. Not to mention a million other things. These GOLD pins are so big, and beautiful that they just have my attention completely.Not only are these gold pins absolutely amazing, but I can also do things to decorate them and make them even more amazing then they already look. Each pin is 5” long and definitely stands out as a beautifully crafted piece. Plus, these pins will not rust, break, or bend. They are the exact pins that I would want to put on the outside of my wool coat, wool scarf, or anything that will hold the pin will hold in place. They even look amazing on couch and bed pillows.I’m thrilled with them, and the price. They are about a little over a $1.00/a piece. Excellent price. They hold really well, and they are super sharp.

What a stylish way for my daughter to wear her blanket shawl, she can pin it with these large pins in many different ways. The pins are strong sturdy metal, a pretty gold color, and function easily to open or close. The size is sufficient for any scarf, shawl, skirt, or kilt for an adult…but is probably too big for a child. They are sharp enough to pierce a loose weave fabric, but I wouldn’t use on a tightly woven fabric as it could leave a hole due to the gauge of the pins. Overall a great value for the money that I’d recommend to others or buy as a gift. Would also work as a keychain if you added a gold split ring, you could pin your keys to a bag or purse, or your belt loop. I’d like to get the other colors as well so we have more options.

These became a happy accident of a purchase. I needed larger metal safety pins to pull through replacement hoodie ties. I saw these, noted the size mentioned in the ad, and hit the button. When I got them, I was shocked to see just how big they are in real life. They are massive. They were too big for what I needed them for, but I have been inspired to do much more with them. I will incorporate them into one of my ViKerryUs designs and add them to my fringe epaulets, called Kerrylettes. We will see where this goes from here. Yay!Also, they are well-made and sturdy. Did I mention they were big, too?

These pins were advertised to be used to secure layers of blankets but we found that although the pin tip was needle sharp, once we had the tip in, the wire was too large to be pushed through the multiple layers of blanket and sheets. They are very strong as they didn't bend upon using pliers to push them through. So for our purpose, these pins were not as good as a large size regular safety pin. We were disappointed.

These jumbo sized gold plated safety pins are a game changer! I used one of these to help secure my button on my jacket as shown in my picture! It works amazingly well, it does not bend or break like normal safety pins. They're high quality and made very well! It locks up nice and secure and it's easy to do with one hand as well.It's like a fashion accessory on your jacket, jeans or shirt, these are multifunctional safety pins. These have a sharp tip and very easy to puncture thicker clothing such as jackets, jeans or a comforter for that matter! Each safety pin is 5 inches long and .78 inches wide.These are very durable, I tried bending it and I could not bend it at all.
