Fits right in there. Clips right on there. Hasn’t failed. Has a little rubber dubber thing on the grabby parts. Well done curt, bravo!

I mean there’s not much to review when it comes to hitch pins, but this one is solid—and looks like it will provide years of worry-free service!

I purchase the hitch for an ATV from Amazon, 1 1/4" with 2' ball. I was surprised when I tried to insert the pin through the ATV shaft and then it would not go through the hitch and back out the shaft. Well, it was too big. Yes, it went through the hitch hole just fine but not through my ATV shaft. So, I ordered this and it is perfectly sized.

Good product, good value. Just check how big/long it needs to be before buying.

Very short hitch pin. It is more difficult to install the clip through a single hole, as compared to a hitch pin that uses a groove. I have to strain to see the clip hole, then it only allows the pin to sit a certain way, blocking the chain hook hole. Getting my hands so close to the receiver, it is difficult in cold weather. I'll stick with the longer pin made for 2 inch receivers.

I ordered this but then realized I ordered the wrong size. I kept it anyway because if I'm camping and any of my neighbors need a hand I'll gladly give this away to them for free. The rubber and construction all seem solid. In my photo you can see I added both hitch pin sizes to my "emergency RV tool kit". My thought is if myself or someone needs the part it's cheap enough that there's no reason to not have a spare. I would rather have it and not need it then be scrambling trying to find a piece/part.I'm glad I made my purchase and the piece of mind it provided me.
