I got these to use these for a drag-and-drive event. I used them both on my trailer hitch and on my parachute mount on my car. They seemed to work very well and hold up to this abuse. They show no signs of wear after the fact, and functioned well for both uses. I would say that the finish on the pins is adequate, but not that shiny, uniform finish that you would find on more expensive pins. I think it is a zinc-plated or hot galvanized type coating. Also, the attached pull-ring was pretty thin and not the strongest, and I've deducted a star for that reason. However, the locking clips had a very nice finish, had a good spring tension, and were very sturdy. Overall I think they have held up very well thus far, especially at the price point, and I'm happy with them.
