Easy installation. With the hour meter clicking the tenths you can tell that it's running without hearing the generator

Used this in my new install for a 2.8 model. The click from the hour meter isn't quiet, but at least I know it is running!

Works as advertised. Installation is easy enough assuming you have a clear route to run the cable but that's a function of your RV. (mine was a complete exercise in vocabulary) The only thing is the hour meter clicks every 3 seconds while the generator is running. You get used to it after a while but it can be annoying. If I had to run this at night when I wasn't using the air conditioner it could become a problem. Fortunately, I have enough battery / inverter capacity for cool nights.

I added this remote with an onan cable everything was plug and play simple. I have an onan 4000 microquietSo with some diligent research everything was compatible
