the pictures are too small to be helpful & they've tried to cram too much info into one book so that the info about your particular model is so sparse it's almost useless.

Haynes manuals have been my go to resource for vehicles I have owned. I always get one for the vehicle I buy. This one is somewhat of a disappointment in that it tries to cover so many model years that it lacks details for the more recent years. They are becoming more like the Chilton manuals were which not much help. Too often the advice would be to "take the part to a professional mechanic." I am finding more help with You Tube videos, which is not why I bought the manual.

To many model years crammed into one manual. Pictures are laughably small and or missing in some instances.These manuals are mandatory to the ownership of your vehicle as far as I am concerned, flawed or not. I use to keep informed and educated about the inner working of my vehicle by choice. Haynes is the way to see what is coming and separate fact from fiction.This is one component in my preventative/predictive vehicle maintenance plan. All good.

I wouldn't even think of trying to work on my Astro with having this guide to help me. This is not the only vehicle I own a Haynes manual for.

All thou my vehicle is a 1999 it works good enough, but I would recommend for people like me to get one that focuses more on my vehicle year by getting one slightly older range this, manual focuses more on the newer end of the years it covers.
