This is easy to store. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Does a great job at making waffles. I'm glad we got it.

Works as advertised, although there is some discrepancy in the doneness of the cooked waffles from one side to the other. Got used to that pretty quickly, and it generally produces great waffles fairly quickly. It is a bear to clean, because you have to let it cool and then try to wipe the channels in the grids with folded paper towels, but the nonstick coating works very well overall. Bulky to store in a kitchen cabinet.

This is exactly what we needed for our family!! Fast enough for school mornings. Perfect shape, not too big or small. Awesome how they can be broken into quarters or halves. Makes 2 at a time. Recommend!!! Made all these on a busy school morning no problem.

Me encanta, la compré para venta de waffles, es muy fácil de usar, salen doraditos y crujientes, tiene sonido y se enciende una luz cuando está listo, me encanta que se pueden hacer 2 al mismo tiempo.

I cannot believe I paid approximately $100 for a waffle maker. And more importantly, would say that it is worth every penny! I love this thing!! I have used it for several months now and have found: It heats well/ fairly quickly, cooks well-you really can get crispy and soft waffles at the same time (setting 4), doesn’t stick (use a bit of butter on both the top and bottom), and notifies you with a loud beep when it is done cooking. Plus it cooks 2 waffles simultaneously. At my house we have pretty much given up pancakes for waffles because of this machine and how easy it is to operate and clean (plates do not come off; I use a damp rag to clean) and because of how quickly we can get the waffles done. I know-$100 is a lot to pay for a product that only does one thing (makes waffles). But in my opinion it is definitely worth it. If you have used a Belgium waffle maker at a hotel breakfast, this is very similar(if not identical) to that. The waffles that you make on this machine come out like the ones you make at the hotels (or order at a restaurant). You just need to experiment with what type of waffle mix to use/make.

Pros: Easy to set up; easy to operate. Starts making waffles quickly and does a really good job. So much better than my first waffle maker where I had to guess if the waffle was done by the amount of steam produced. The temperature control is 5 different settings indicated by how many lights are lit up. Actual temperature is not presented -- much like run of the mill toaster settings. Cooks edge to edge.Had to experiment with different temps for different mixes. I use only box mixes (yeah, I have shame but I'm lazy too) and my altitude is pretty high so any suggested temperature on the control is a mere recommendation.Cooking plates are truly non-stick but I've seen this coating many times (it's not Teflon) and metal utensils should be avoided at all cost. I use a silicone spatula and that's enough.Con: Cleanup is not a snap since the cooking plates can't be removed. Getting all of the little broken cooked batter bits, moisture, and oil wiped out takes some time if you don't want to leave it for the next use.Informational: It's quite a bit bigger than a toaster (even bigger than my old waffle maker) and my counterspace real estate is not unlimited, so mine goes into a cabinet and eats a lot of space there. I wouldn't consider going back to a flat waffle griddle or my old inconvenient waffle maker, but if you're limited on counter AND cabinet space a luxury appliance like this may beg reconsideration.

I cannot express enough how the Cuisinart WAF-F40 Double Flip Belgian Waffle Maker has transformed breakfast time in our household. As a parent to toddlers, mornings can be chaotic, but this waffle maker has become our morning hero.Firstly, let’s talk about convenience. The double flip design allows for efficient cooking of two waffles simultaneously, cutting down the waiting time significantly. This means hungry little ones are fed faster, reducing morning stress levels for everyone involved. Now, onto versatility. One of the biggest challenges we faced was finding a waffle maker that could handle thicker batters, particularly oatmeal batter. The WAF-F40 exceeded our expectations. It flawlessly cooks waffles from various batters, including the thicker oatmeal variety, ensuring every batch comes out perfectly golden and fluffy. The non-stick plates make cleanup a breeze, which is a huge plus when dealing with messy little eaters. Additionally, the adjustable temperature control allows for customization based on personal preferences, ensuring that each waffle is cooked exactly how we like it.Overall, the Cuisinart WAF-F40 Double Flip Belgian Waffle Maker has become an indispensable part of our morning routine. It’s reliable, easy to use, and consistently produces delicious waffles. If you’re a busy parent looking to simplify breakfast time without sacrificing quality, this waffle maker is an absolute must-have. Highly recommended!

My old American style waffle maker became impossible to remove the waffles from so I had to go looking for anew one. I researched several review sites and this one was mentioned on almost all of them as the number one. I liked that there was an audible beep telling you when the waffles were done and that they claimed to be done in two minutes. My old waffle iron took at least ten and I would usually let it go through two cycles to get the waffles crispy enough, I do like my waffles on the darker side.Well, this waffle iron does get them crispy on the fourth highest setting and cooks them fast, plus cooking two waffles at once. Cuisinart is a great brand and while this was over $100 I’d say it is totally worth it. I used a recipe from the book and even made them gluten and dairy free (I have allergies) and they were the best waffles I’ve ever made. This iron is easy to use and even has an off function, by sliding the selector all the way to the left. I love it and totally recommend it!
