Water doesn't get trapped in the handle and my wife is even happier in the kitchen! Big win for me so yes, I would recommend it.Had it over a year and no signs of wear.

It's a good pan sturdy, heats quickly has a nice non stick surface as long as you use proper utensils. Cleans easily I hand wash.. Handle does not get hot on pan.. however handle on lid gets very hot..beware..use pot holder..it should have a heat resistant handle on it..

This is a very good sauce pan for a few reasons. The shape has it wide at the bottom which gives it good stability on a grated burner. My previous pan was not as stable. That wide bottom also allows for a nice even and quick heating for the contents. The handle is comfortable, and I like the fact that it comes with a top. I am pleased with this item.

As strange as it may seem, I purchased this pan specifically for making popcorn. It does an outstanding job I previously used a Calphalon 5 quart Dutch oven, but this is much better. The design like a cauldron is perfect and so easy to clean up. I have an automatic popcorn maker from Cuisinart that works very well, but I love this pan because it’s even faster and simple. I have not used it for soup or stew so far but I have cooked popcorn in it probably 50 times and it still looks brand new.

EDIT: OK, today is the first time I cooked fried eggs in this pan. OMG, they GLIDE! Last pan, they STUCK. In this pan, they glide like they're on ice :-). BEST NON STICK FRYING PAN I have had and I have had quite a few.SO, if you're looking for a GREAT PAN that food just SLIDES, this is it. And it's a great size especially for one person.________________________________________________________________________I just needed a new 8 inch frying pan and this one was on sale and had good reviews and so chose it.SO GLAD I DID.FIRST, this puppy is STURDY! It is not some flimsy, lightweight pan (I have seen in stores like Walmart for MORE money), it's a HEFTY pan and the handle IS BOLTED IN. This is THE sturdiest pan I have had and ESPECIALLY at this price (about $20 when I bought it). WORTH MUCH MORE.SECOND, I really like the finish and the look of the pan.THIRD, perfect for what I needed for. Things like eggs, grilled cheese, cooking bean burgers. I don't like having a lot of pots and pans for just me and this is a GREAT size..I will edit after using for awhile re how it's holding it.

Love this Set! I wanted a set that did not weigh a ton for ease of washing, that nested pretty well in the cabinet, that heated up quick, had excellent non -stick qualities, was afforable, easy to clean and looks nice. I did a lot of comparable shopping on similar priced sets. I ordered this just after Christmas. It was packaged very wonderfully and carefully, was amazed at the quality and workmanship right out of the box. I use it everyday. My favorite go-to pot is the smaller 3-4qt dutch oven pot. It is great for making just the right amount of soup, boiling pasta or creating sauces, chili, one-pot meals, with extra large handles that are easy to grab. I love everything about it. It looks brand new still. I do not put it in the dishwasher, I always like to hand wash my pots and pans. I have a glass cook top electric stove and have had no problems with this set. I just ordered the cuisinart hard anodized square griddle pan to round out my set. Amazing quality for the price!!!!
