O produto tem um ótimo desempenho mas apresenta super aquecimento quando usadas todas as portas. O chip esquenta muito ao ponto de começar a ter travamento quando é usado num ambiente quente. Verifiquei que ele não tem dissipador no chip e nenhum resfriamento. O design do produto foi mal projetado quando é usado na parede onde as travas do conector RJ45 ficam voltadas para a traseira do produto, dificultando a colocação e remoção dos cabos. Ele possui proteção contra cable loop mas não reseta a proteção quando o loop é cessado, necessitando reiniciar o switch. Só recomendo o produto se você usar num ambiente frio ou colocar dissipador no chip e abrir pequenos buracos nas laterais para melhor dissipação do calor.

This unit works great, it's just simple plug and play. Easy to install and hook to multiple POE ports. Great buy for the money.

This splitter is pretty versatile with running multiple hardlines for internet. It's better to run lines since it's a stable connection. Wireless is nice but if you live in town like I do there are too many people on wireless channels. So this unit can help alevitate bottle necks.

This is a great 8 port. Tiny but great and super lightweight. It almost takes zero power so I am able to power it through a 5v USB adapter. So that makes it even better for using it for travel. It is a gigabit switch so if you need that speed this is a great fit for you. You can easily throw it in your backpack and you will probably forget that it is even there. Overall highly recommend if you are looking for a lightweight, powerful gigabit switch.

Lightweight, small and just plain works! Plugged this into my router as I needed more ports that the router provided and it's been perfect. I have been able to plug in more stuff via ethernet and it's allowed me to put more network peripherals and even teamed up my synology nas so the transfer speeds has been upgraded. It's definitely a great switch to have! Definitely recommend this.

Practically weightless so perfect for travel. There are no non-skid pads though so with the light weight it may slip around a little. There are wall mounting screw slots however. The ports are molded plastic and so is the body however, technically this should be electrically grounded but practically speaking it doesn't really matter. There are air slots under the body but nowhere else so it should handle splashes and such just fine with no dust ingress either. Good hub but I'd wall mount it for permanent installation if you can.

Was surprised by the small size.I needed to expand from 4 to 8 ports and this was one option.Works well and does what its supp to.Setup in less than 5 minutes, including the connections that I had to switch oover.Recommend...!!!!!
