  • Split shaft with Fine Spline Knurled; Shaft Length:18.5mm; Shaft Diameter: 6mm; Base Diameter: 24mm
  • It's made in CTS Taiwan Company, we have shown the detailed factory diagram for the pots, please verify the diagram if you have any doubts. CTS has several factories that all of them can produce guitar pots
  • A' means Audio Taper which increases or decreases in a sloped curve fashion ; 'B' means Linear Taper which increases or decreases in a linear fashion
  • Generally speaking, Audio Taper (A) are always used as Tone and Linear Taper (B) are always used as Volume, but you can use Audio Taper as Volume and Linear Taper as Tone as well, it usually depends on your personal preference.

This fit a squier strat to replace old cheap original ones just had to reem pick guard hole slightly till new pot slips through

I go this for a 1969 Teisco Del Rey Guitar I am refurbishing. The guitar has a single coil pickup. 250 K pickups work best with single coil pickups. That is why I got them.

Work fine and easy enough to solder and install. Quality construction, smooth and quiet operation. Maybe too much hype about this brand though. American hole sizing.

If you need a basic 500K pot, this is the perfect product. I used it for tone. Love the taper, love the sound, and love the feel of the turn (very steady and just the right amount of resistance to turn). Great product, can't go wrong with CTS Pots- I'm super impressed with them. Thanks.

As a builder, it is important to me that the pots I use are closely matched. I have bought from other sources and recieved pots that varied +/- as much as 75k ohms! This company tends to send me pots that are much closer to the rated impedance. CTS pots have the right amount of drag and don't overheat as easily when soldering. This is just the state of business however, I must mention that all guitar parts are insanely expensive.

Did what it's supposed to do, and good quality. Just know that a CTS pot is a high friction pot, meaning it's not a super fast turning pot like a Bournes pot (low friction). If you like smooth action, its a great pot, just make sure you have room in your guitar cavity, because they are bigger than most crap pots you may have in a cheap guitar.
