Each card is made of 304-grade stainless steel, which has a melting point of 1450°C (2642°F). Our stress test shows that etched letters will still be visible after being heated to 1300°C (2372°F). Most house fires will never exceed this temperature.

INTEGRATED LETTER STENCILS
Outlines of letters A-Z are located at the top and bottom of each card, allowing you to carefully trace each letter. Crypto Seed Bank is a one-of-a-kind design: The built-in letter stencils make it easier to control each stroke of the pen for neater engraving.
TUNGSTEN-TIPPED PEN
Crypto Seed Bank boxes now include engraving tips that are thinner, sharper and a higher grade of Tungsten than previously available. These pens don't use ink - the metal tips are sharp enough to leave a permanent, visible engraving in the stainless steel cards.
SLIM PROFILE
As thin as a normal credit card, Crypto Seed Bank is ideal for hiding in places that no one would ever look.
It’s imperative that you make every effort to keep your Crypto Seed Bank out of reach of everyone - family, friends, and foes. Each card has ⌀ 4 mm holes designed to be screwed through, in case you want to hide your Crypto Seed Bank in a creative spot.
TAMPER PROOF STICKERS
Two tamper proof stickers are included in every box, allowing you to seal your cards together, safe from prying eyes. Once the stickers are removed, they cannot be reused.
Is Engraving Difficult?
If you engrave by pressing down with extreme force, it can be difficult. Luckily, you don't need to apply much pressure with the tungsten-tipped pen in order to successfully engrave. Gently trace and re-trace each letter repeatedly (5-10 strokes per letter) and it will be successfully engraved into the steel plates.
It takes approximately 30 minutes to engrave each 24 word seed phrase. For more detailed instructions, make sure to read the instructional card provided.

What is a Seed Phrase?
If you own a Trezor, Ledger, or other brand of cold wallet, you must protect the 12 or 24 word sequence (aka seed phrase) that was generated when you set up your wallet.
If your hardware wallet is ever lost or destroyed, the only way to recover your funds is through your seed phrase.
Why shouldn't I just write down my seed phrase?
The status quo amongst crypto owners is to write down their seed phrases on paper.

You have to pinch tightly and carefully with one hand after placing your letters, then etch with your other hand. A simple lever clamp or something like that would make all the difference. This is a very slow process.In the end, it looks great, however. And easier to read then stamping.

Just be sure to use the pen deal at the right angle otherwise it's much harder than it needs to be. My only gripe is that I wanna seal it in some way when I'm done so it can't get scratched more. I'm thinking something along the lines of what you would put a pokemon card in. Just a thought, because it makes me nervous that it can get scratched.

I didn't like the fact my pen exploded out the top of pen springs everywhere during the middle of engraving . I also had 8 letter keywordsThe cards aren't long enoughThey have numbers for each line when engraving these interfere with letters , also a hole on both ends that interferea with letter placementI would design no numbers ( not needed ) no holes unless away from etching , and pen needs to be corrected as mine was defective .And lastly slightly longer so longer keyletters don't have to be overlapped

Two little credit card size metal plates. Really hard to scratch the letters on the card and longer words hardly fit. Would not recommend this.

These are a lot easier to use than other seed Phrase plates. I bought a different se that was punch down and was not that easy to use if you have a 24 seed phrase. They seem to be good quality and easy to inscribe.
