I bought this case for my husband on his birthday to put his mandolin in and it was the right decision!!!! He LOVES it!! He takes it on all his music trips and doesn't worry on the plane if it will get destroyed . We love the dark blue and how sturdy the case is!! It also isn't heavy like a lot of other cases are! This was a fantastic buy!!!

It’s a great case for the money & it offers more protection than most wood core cases. My custom F style fits perfectly.

J'ai été très deçue, car je voulais cet etui qui me semblait parfait pour mon instrument. Il n'est jamais arrivé jusque chez moi. Amazon me l'a remboursé. Félicitations à Amazon pour sa diligence de remboursement

Originally the wrong case was sent but the company quickly sent out a new one as it was a Christmas gift. The case itself is very well constructed and durable and roomy enough without being too loose. It even fits my husband’s mandolin with the tone guard attached. The customer service is outstanding. They even offered money back to reflect the current sale price. Wow.

Decently sturdy arched Fiberglass. 5 closure latches which is a good amount.Comes with some padding to customize fit. Seems to work with a wide range of mandolins. It's roomy and it's much easier to add padding and snug up a case than remove padding. Fit's a Collings MTO-2, and Nortfield NF5S, and a Girouard A5 all with tonegard.Points of contact are tailpiece and neck which I like. Keeps the top away from the bridge.Lighter than most cases and come in colors that won't collet heat in the sun like a black case. They look nice in my opinion.I have 2 now. I think they make a lot of cases obsolete. If you need a flight case, get a Calton or Hoffee for around $800. But for anything else these are really hard to beat!

CRF1000MFBK Initial impression: fit and finish seems good. Tight fight for the length of my Eastman MD304 body, but it works fine. My only complaint thus far is that the case was not fitted with a locking latch. Pictures online of the case show the right front as the locking latch. I received the key, but none of the latches on my case have a lock mechanism. Not a deal breaker for me, as I very rarely utilize the locks on any of my instrument cases, but caveat emptor. Pictures also show people standing on the case to show its ability to protect the instrument. Beware that the case face does have a little flex, so I would not try this with your mando inside. Overall a good case for the money, considering the alternatives.

You know how it is sometimes when you order something it’s like a box of chocolates you never know what your gonna get” well I’m pleasantly surprised! I love this mandolin case! I did do some decorating on it but it’s solid and wonderful.” My mandolin fits like a glove without the extra loose padding they put for just in case.I love the color and I love that it has latch lock with two keys” I didn’t know that” when I ordered 👍. And all the other latches open and close with such ease.Yes I surly do recommend this case for sure!

I have only been using this a couple days but have to say I'm blown away by the quality. I bought the red fiberglass to protect my Rattlesnake F-style Mandolin. It's incredibly light, and the straps are well padded and sturdy, they have the look and feel of seatbelts sothey aren't rough and I feel like they won't wear out, either. I wish I'd had this case years ago! It would be perfect for a festival, I really feel like you could put it on and almost forget it's there. The padding and velour feel very luxurious, and cradle the mandolin well. I love the bright red color, as it would stand out well against the sea of black cases at a jam session. The lid fits like there's a tight seal,(I imagine it's because it's supposed to be water proof, but I hope I never find out.) so I would advise against opening it in your lap, as I could see how one might accidentally cause it to tumble forward if you aren't careful as you do have to push a little more than a typical case to make it open, but this isn't a complaint by any means. If anything it makes me feel all the more confident in it.Honestly I don't think you can find a better case for the price, and I would've happily paid twice the amount I did for it and still felt like it was a bargain. I don't know that I would trust it on an airplane, or to drive over it with a truck, but that's about it.

I am very pleased with this mandolin case - it resolved my search for a reasonably-priced, relatively-protective case with backpack straps. The case is not as strong or tight or heavy as a Calton case, but the price of this case reflects that. It fits my A-style mandolin well (including the tone guard). The instrument is well supported in the case; lid cushions hold down the neck and tailpiece (which is much better than cushions that press down on the bridge). The tailpiece cushion may interfere with some armrests. The lid fits in a groove around the case when closed, which makes the case rigid (although it does not form a rain-tight seal). The hardware and carrying straps are decent (although a backpack strap has twisted and come off twice when putting the case on my back - no big deal, just something to be careful about). Two things could make this case even better: (1) the storage compartment inside the case could be larger (so that it can hold both a small moisturizer *and* tuner), and (2) the case could use a handle at the top (i.e., near the headstock) so that the case can be easily lifted when standing vertically.
