Installed very easily on my Hora Portuguese II mandolin, the second one I bought should fit well on the scroll of my F style ibanez. To the reviewer who complained of the strap being too narrow/thin... I mean if this was a guitar strap yeah it would be unacceptable, but it's holding a sub 5lb mandolin. It's not gonna break, it would just be terribly awkward to put a 3 inch strap on one and I think they acknowledge that.

I really like this strap. It's not stiff or rough like new leather tends to be. It's soft and supple and though not being wide, it is still a very comfortable strap. I'm glad I spent the extra money because it was well worth it.

As noted in the headline, it's a good, well-made strap, but the leather is a bit stiff and so narrow. It's very uncomfortable. Would not buy again.

Old school look, with great adjustability… All my other straps are woven patterns, and can be distracting… this is a plain, clean, simple look… and I can throw my Uke back across my back and out of the way without worrying about it!

Terrible materials, incredibly short. The only use for it is on an F-style over one shoulder. It's too short to put over both shoulder or under the fingerboard on an A. It's also plastic or something else of the like in full or part it is absolutely not 100% leather.

Strap appears to be of excellent quality. It is narrow but we’re talking about a mandolin here so it doesn’t need to support that much weight. I did find that the strap was too thick to slide under the strings above the nut on my A-style mando, but I use used a short length of Paracord and tied it to the end of the strap.
