Update!Crossrock to the rescue! They reached out to me to rectify my problem with the case. They made it right! 110% satisfied!!I like the light weight compared to my original Stelling (Red Fox) case. My banjo fits very well. There is a little wiggle room where it supports the neck at the 6th fret, but it has extra thick paddingin the lid that will keep it in place.I love the color (blue) and look of the case. The exterior will take a good amount of banging, scraping, and general scuffs associated with transporting your banjo without worry. The padding inside seems adequate to protect my gem.The storage compartment is a little too small for packs of strings but there is room for them under the headstock.I like the double carry straps that come with it. I removed them but will keep them handy for the next bluegrass festival or gig I do where I have to carry my banjo any distance. My biggest complaint is the hinge nearest the headstock. It was riveted onto the case slightly crooked. So it binds slightly when opening or closing the case. It is hard for the camera to show this. I will probably have to drill out the four rivets and try to adjust the hinge and rivet it back on.The only other dislike is the three nubs (feet) the case sits on when open. They did not install the metal feet there like they did everywhere else. I feel like they could wear through over time.

I needed a sturdy case for transporting my banjo so was looking for a lockable hard case. Saw this model was available as a Used, Like New so I ordered it. When it arrived I inspected it and the only flaw I could find was that the original manufactures shipping box had some damage but the case itself was like new, I don't even think it had been removed from it's plastic wrap. A great case and would have been happy paying full price but managed to save some cash by taking a chance on a used one.

I bought this for my husband. He is just starting to lean banjo and this protects the banjo very well. Sturdy construction, with soft interior and place for the essientials.

This is a really great case - and shockingly inexpensive. Recommended for a banjo with a resonator, but should fit any size with an 11" head and tenor to normal length neck.

This is the third CrossRock case that I've purchased. They are incredibly stout. I've bought other cases including one from Fender and the don't hold a candle to these very strong CrossRock cases. And they're lovely too (I've got two in the PVC Tweed look for my vintage instruments) Of the three I've purchased - the locks do not work. And like this one, they were sold as having two removable pads which didn't arrive in any of them. I suggest contacting the seller at the time of purchase if having those things are important features for you. After the item delivered I wasn't able to reach the seller. I will still continue to purchase cases from CrossRock. They are simply the best, safest, cases I've found for my precious instruments.
