Well I was expecting it to be white. But it's more like ivory to me. Compare to my kitchen cabinets and all. And I CANNOT take the smell off.I've tried many products. But since then it's still has this strong odor. N when it arrived the stainless top was dented , the top drawer doesn't slides open very much. but other than it's ok. It's a cart but not worth this price.

This is a great cart that can be tricky to assemble. The cart itself is wonderful. Sturdy and handsome on all four sides! Mine has one minor flaw (one of the screws on the drawer rail binds up because it was installed at a slant - no big deal). Cheap rails so it really is not an issue. The casters on the other hand are absolute garbage! None of the casters pivoted. Some bearings were missing so the rest were binding up and falling out of the bent casings. Called customer service and never heard back. Went to Home Depot and bought 4 new high quality casters and "voila!" a great cart for a good price. Will buy a second cart shortly (and 4 more casters from the big box store). Would recommend this cart with the heads up about the wheels.Originally 4 stars but all issues resolved so 5 stars.Still no personal contact from customer service, however they did send 4 replacement casters in the mail. They seem to work. So I would still recommend this cart.

I was looking for a portable island to go with our kitchen. It’s custom in a walnut color and hadn’t had much luck. I thought I was going to have to hire a cabinet maker. And then I found this in Amazon! Assembly was easy but the holes for the dowel pins are a little big so we put gorilla glue in them as per a previous review we read. The island matches our kitchen perfectly and the gray granite top is just gorgeous. The glue is the secret. The island feels solid and friends that have seen it thought it was made with the kitchen. Even our kitty loves it! The top drawer is deep and spacious and there is one shelf below that gives you lots of storage. Love the wheels, we change the islands position in the kitchen and even use it to wheel the desserts over to the table or use it like a sideboard. It’s a GREAT piece and we love it.

Bought this on a black Friday sale, so I was tempted to pay to have somebody else put it together; I'm really glad I didn't. I'm a veteran of Ikea and other RTA furniture and my pet peeves are getting a giant sack of components you have to sort, and tricky door hinges and drawer slides. When I opened the well packed and padded box there was a sheet with each of the components shrink wrapped and labeled. The directions referenced the labels so it was much easier to get started with assembly right away, and a couple extra screws were included which I liked. The directions were okay but not great--twice I had to do "trial and error" to figure out where a screw went because the drawings in the instructions are so small it isn't clear which pre-drilled hole to use, but it is fairly intuitive. The drawer slides are already assembled--just pop the drawer in. Heaven! Also, the top of the door hinge pin is retractable so you just position the door correctly and you're done. SO much easier than any other piece of furniture I've put together and the spaces around the drawer and the doors was perfectly even. There are only 3 positions for the interior shelf, all near the center of the cabinet, which is slightly disappointing but it is probably a structural feature to strengthen the cabinet. The wheels work perfectly as do the wheel locks. The hardware is heavy and of very good quality. I got the steel topped version which was also heavy and good quality. There was a slight scratch on my top, but I intend to use the piece so there will be many more scratches soon and that wasn't a problem for me. Par for the course with steel. The cabinet is small enough for my studio condo but deep enough so that I can store my large frying pans and cooking pots. The bottom of the drawer is basically coated cardboard, so don't plan on overloading it but I think it will be fine for the dish cloths and pot holders I plan to store there. The doors and drawer have a really nice look to them and the piece looks considerably more expensive than it cost. One of the best pieces of RTA furniture I've bought--despite the minimal instructions I would buy a Crosley piece again in a heartbeat.

The unit looks great and has been performing well in my kitchen for the past several weeks. It wasn't difficult to put together but did require some patience to follow the directions exactly - all together about three hours from the time we opened the cartons to the time we were wheeling it into the kitchen. Packaging was good - everything was well labelled and wrapped well to prevent damage - especially the granite top which was particularly well protected in its separate crate. There was one small surface flaw on the top of the pull out drawer, visible only when the drawer is open so no big deal.We chose to add a second shelf to the storage space beneath to avoid having to stack the serve-ware we keep there. Other than that, the cart works exactly as we had hoped it would.

I cannot say I'm happy:* It was not specified on the site that the assembly is required - I would never buy it - I'm 60 years old and it is difficult for me.* $135 for delivery of two boxes is ridiculous* difficulties with the assembly - the bolts' heads did not go enough through the wholes to meet the nuts - I had to run to Home Depot to buy a drill bit; the parts are not matching perfectly; the drawer doesn't move smoothly - I have to be careful opening it otherwise it can fall out.Pretty much disappointed. I expected better quality.

Cart arrived in 2 boxes. One for the wood top and the other with the cart parts. For the price I think its a wonderful cart, and was a perfect fit for our small bungalow kitchen. The top drawer is a little loose and sometimes falls off center, but just needs to be nudged back into place. Not anything I would gripe about considering what we paid for it. The wood top is not a butcher block. Its lacquered so I wouldn't suggest cutting directly on it.Assembly was very straight forward and fairly easy. I am 8 months pregnant and was able to do it by myself in about 2 hours. Just make sure you unpack all parts and line them in order. Also, they package all the screws/small bits in an organized pack. I would suggest not removing any until you need them since there are about 12 different parts. I just took them out in order of use following the instruction manual.Overall, we are happy with our purchase. Looks good, sturdy for medium use, and great price.
