They're nice but a little thin.What a preferred a little more material. To make them more sturdy for quilting.

These rings are a little on the thin side for rings this size, but they are still super useful for what I'll be using them for. The rings are very light weight and I don't foresee having too many issues with using them for hand sewing quilts. The Lightness of them will help with long term use, since it will be mostly the blanket and fabric that will be the weight rather than the rings. The rings are like any other embroidery hoop I've owned, just much larger. The wood seems to be handled well, there are no obvious joinery that should create weak points. The tightening screws however do not have a lot of play for tension on them, they appear to be lightly tensioned, but leave only about 2-3 mm of space to work with. That could be a lot, but it could also be quite little if using these on heavier materials. They will work fine with the projects I have in mind though.
