These are very high quality cards with different patterns. They are thick and look professional grade. These are very appropriate for a wedding & showers and look fantastic. I plan to use these to label dishes at family parties.They have a matte, paper based finish. You should be able to use any pen/Sharpie/or fountain pen to write on and it will not smear. I tested with a thin & thick Sharpie and there is no bleed. I tested with a ball point pen, and it wrote smoothly.Definitely recommend this product. You will not be disappointed.
