It has taken me awhile to get the steps down for what works for me with embossing but now that I have it down I love it and this does a beautiful job.

I initially bought a debossing tip made by another company but it wouldn't fit on my quick-swap housing properly so I returned it and went with this one because although it is a Genuine Cricut accessory, the price was considerably less than what my local craft store was selling it for.Our local craft store sells this tip for over $8 more than Amazon.

I love adding texture to cardstock with embossing. This tool works well with the Maker and the embossing is not limited in size as it is with the embossing folders.

I love my Cricut maker and its cutting blades. However, I came to understand that not everyone will have a use for these. I find myself using the engraving tip more than the deboss tip. And by the way, stop calling it “embossing tip”, because this is the opposite of it. No such thing on Cricut.All this does is pushing the material a bit. For leather (my primary reason to get this) the results are almost invisible.
