This is solid and heavy duty. It does works great as a fencing pliers. After comparing several models I settled on this one even though it was a bit more expensive then the cheaper ones available. This is made by Crescent a top brand in hand tools. Recommended, you will not be disappointed. I would definitely buy again.

Strong took! I use it to nail in my wire staples and also remove old electric wire staples.Great multi useful tool to have. It’s not heavy and does not put a lot of strain on your hands to use. Made with amazing quality

Easy to use. I don't think they make anything like they used to but these fence pliers aren't too bad. The metal is softer than an older pair I have. Nicely made and helped to get out fencing nails well. Will update after more use as needed.

Plier does a good job of gripping fencing and staples. The cutters are robust and cut through the fencing quite easily. Highly recommend adding a drop of oil to the center pivot to ease operation of the plier.

This tool can do it all! I take it on the road in my emergency repair kit.. many tools are treated like hammers once in a while but this one tool is a joy to pound nails with. It makes a great self defense option as well.
