This brush has not been very good. From the first use it released bristles every so often. Now, it literally sheds the entire time I use it. I finally just threw it away.

These are big filberts -- okay, nearly filberts -- they are more of a cross between a fan and a filbert, but more filbert-like than fan-like. Really, I wish they were true filberts, with longer bristles (which would hold more paint). And I wish they had long handles. But what can you do -- search for a similar sized hog bristle filbert, and I doubt you can find one, and if by chance you do, it will cost in the neighborhood of $100. These are a bargain, and Amazon is currently offering a good price if you buy a pack of two (check!)... Let me put it this way: These are not perfect and I wish they were a little different, but I have three and I just ordered two more...
