If you are not buying for food prep and need it to mix some watercolor, this is the pan.I saw all the negative reviews but hoped I would get an undamaged pan.It came with a few chips but, it’s still perfect for my palette.

If you advertise a product as 'made for artists', I expect a certain standard. Before buying this pan I tried going for a cheaper one, just a small ceramic pan & it arrived in pieces. Refunded. So I caved in and paid the big price tag for this. SEE PHOTOS. I'm just stunned at the lack of care, quality AND quality control. It's chipped, rippled, has HOLES in it, has multiple DEEP SCRATCHES.. This is supposed to be a higher end paint pallet for serious artists. But you send out damaged and malformed products? Again SEE PHOTOS BEFORE BUYING. I think next time I'll buy a real ceramic baking dish instead of this cheap metal with ceramic 'painted on'. I'm just so disappointed :(

I am not sure what I was expecting but this was heavier and way better than I thought it would be! It is a great piece for my daughter who loves to paint. It is perfect for mixing paints and cleans up perfectly. Love this item and it was a great purchase!

J'adore l'utiliser pour l'aquarelle. C'est une belle dimention et un prix équivalent à un prix en boutique.

This pan was recommended by the online instructor. It is very easy to clean up and store. Loose watercolor painting is made easy with the use of the pan. I am pleased with my purchase. One pan will be used when I travel due to the smaller size it packs easily.

If you're looking for a flawless tray, this is probably not for you, since (at least on the one I received) there are imperfections in the enamel coating on the bottom and edges. Additionally, it was inadequately padded for shipping, and suffered chips on two corners and along one edge--some quite large. I bought this tray for holding/mixing watercolors, which it will do fine, but it would have been nice to have a good-looking tray, as well! I would exchange it for a new one, but based on reviews, this chipping problem seems common, so maybe not worth the hassle.

I mistakenly bought a large tray. But I love it! Large surface for mixing and cleans up very easily! Lightweight but heavy enough to remain stable when in use. I will buy a smaller one for travel.

As an artist who goes through many paint palettes this is the best one I have used it is so easy to clean compared to my other palettes all it takes is a soap sponge and some water it only took me like 5 minutes to clean after I have covered it in paint from a long painting session. It’s very high quality and has made cleanup so much easier you also have a lot of room for mixing colors.

The only thing is the label left sticky residue that was not easy to remove

Porcelain chipped off the edges all the way around and corrosion already underway. Obviously defective before shipping. Completely unsanitary and unserviceable. Why would you even ship this junk out? Disgusted.

Nice size, smooth finish. I love how easy it is to clean after a painting session. Usually, a wet paper towel does the trick. I looked at wet palette's before buying this but am very glad I purchased this instead. Simple solution and lots of room to mix colors. Very easy to keep paint workable with an occasional spritz of water mixed with Sax True Flow drying retarder. (10 to 1 ratio works well).
