Automatic shift knobs are typically something that the industry avoids. We've had so much demand to bring our classic shift knob design to automatic MINIs that we really had no choice. It wasn't as simple as slapping an auto engraving on the standard knob and calling it good. We had to also design a mechanism to allow for actuation of the shift lock. To operate your shifter with our knob, simply lift up!
Style and Comfort
We've brought the spherical design over from our other MINI knobs for the ultimate shifting comfort. The acetal outer sleeve is very smooth and will always be cool to the touch. On a manual transmission, you typically want a heavy shift knob. For the automatic version, we knew lightweight would be ideal so we've put the stainless steel core on a strict diet to shed a few ounces.
CravenSpeed Quality
Our focus is on providing the highest quality parts made from the highest quality materials, and this knob is no exception. The core is machined from stainless steel, the outer sleeve from acetal. The cap on top is aluminum finished with a textured powdercoat available in either black or red. All of these parts are made in the USA, right here in Oregon. This part is designed to fit any automatic 3rd Generation MINI, which includes the following:

Excellent quality and mechanism. Really gave my MINI a new look and feel from the dated auto shifter.Be careful when installing. If the knob can twist in it’s normal position that means it wasn’t installed properly.

I was in the market for an automatic shift replacement for my 2017 Mini for some time and found the CravenSpeed. It's one of the best upgrades I have done as I really hated the golf club stock mini shifter that my car came with. The install was a breeze as CravenSpeed supplies dummy-proof step by step instructions. If you prefer to watch an install there are some great youtube videos that walk you through the process. The shifter is made of quality material and feels great in the hand. I love that you just simply pull up to switch gears rather than pushing the button on the old shifter. It also provides a much lower profile than stock. Highly recommend the product if you what to change things up.

Had placed the order with enthusiasm. However, upon receipt of the delivery, I did not get the CravenSpeed Automatic Shift Knob but instead a bottle of Shea Butter and some Moisturisers.

Perfect fit for my 2017 mini clubman s.. I like the look of this shift knob, and feels smooth in hand.. easier to shift the gear to.. a bit pricey but worth to upgrade it from the original shift knob..
