I’ve had a couple of products like this in the past and the biggest problem is that they don’t hold up. I like that this one is fixed (not an extendable handle) because that’s always a weak spot. When I assembled this one it felt pretty good. I wasn’t sure when I saw the materials but the handle threaded together pretty well. It works great for getting dirt out from between the boards on a dock, which is my main use for it. After the first use, all of the black finish on the “blade” was basically gone already, so I’m hoping I don’t have big rust issues later on. During use, it holds up pretty well, though the handle probably only gets a B after using it for a while. The wire brush worked very well to pull weeds out of the cracks in the driveway, though I’m a little concerned that it’s just in a wood block. Overall, if it lasts, this is a solid product that gets the job done.

My wife's review:The crack weeder and moss brush tool set from the Viscogrip store arrives needing some minor assembly. You just fit and screw on the pieces of the pole together. The crack weeder head and the moss brush use a wingnut/bolt type hardware to attach to the end of the pole. I know my husband turns up his nose at handles that are pieced together but even he agreed it's a sturdy one.Living in Nevada, we don't get a ton of moss so the moss brush is a nice extra but the crack weeder is king in this set.I'd describe the blade as L-shaped or a square hook? Either way, the edges are sharp and the perfect thinness to get in between the freeze cracks in concrete driveway and walkways that fill up with weeds in the summertime.Although most everything is dead right now, I did go out and try it on the grunk that builds up in the cracks and the hook end pulled that out immediately. I also killed a spider with it - proving its secondary use as a weapon for arachnophobic women.

I like how these tools have helped me to clean my front yard. I specifically like the metal brush, It helps me to get rid of weeds without kneeling and bending. It is much faster to remove weeds too. They are adjustable based on the height of the user. Assembly is easy. I do recommend this set.

I like to pull weeds out at the root. It really bugs me that you can weed eat the driveway to clear them, but you never really get the whole thing. I was able to slip the hook hend of the slim blade and pull the entire weed out. This worked exactly how I hoped it would! Haven't had a chance to use the other tool yet, but it's very stiff and and sharp and should do excellent in cleaning out cracks and gaps

These tools work well on those annoying weeds that have taken hold in the cracks of the driveway or between brick pavers. I have hand tools for weeding cracks, but I have to bend over or sit on a milk crate to pull them out. Having the long handles really helps, and I can get myself motivated to work because I know I won't end up with a tired back. The tools come with the handles in sections. Since I'm short, three sections are the right length for me. I had to assemble the weeder and the brush to the lowest handle section. Be sure to select the correct section, since the weeder requires two screws and the brush only one. I found it's easier to do the assembly before screwing all of the handle sections together.Everything seems to be well-made and I expect to use these tools for a long time.
