Patient does not have much trunk control. This product helps him to sit up in bed which is important for eating and taking medicine. It works well for him.

Quite comfortable, no odor. This is my second time purchasing this since I had unfortunately given away the first one. Little did I know we would be having another little baby and with that, a cesarean. If you're having a cesarean, invest in a wedge pillow. It makes getting up from the bed easier to accomplish. Also helpful for elevating swollen pregnancy feet. The washable cover is a nice and useful feature.

I originally bought this for my post complete shoulder replacement surgery recovery. I watched videos about shoulder replacement on youtube and one of the suggestions was to put a flat pillow at the bottom of the wedge and then your regular pillow above that. I have also had two back surgeries and have never slept really well. To my surprise when I was able to use my bed after my shoulder surgery, I was suddenly sleeping without pain in my back and sleeping like a champ. The only difference was sleeping with this wedge cushion. This was an unexpected benefit and I couldn't be happier.

I’ve been having treatments done to promote blood circulation & the standard aftercare is to elevate your legs. This pillow is perfect for that while bringing comfort using its memory foam pillow. I sleep with this every night under my blankets & I never find myself getting too hot. I predominantly use it for my legs but I’m sure if you were to flip it, it could be used for back support adding to versatility.My only complaint is that this does slip. Any slight shifting of your body the pillow will slide unfortunately. It comes packaged in an airtight compressed bag so it needs about 24hrs to fully inflate.I initially purchased the 8” one & exchanged for the tallest 10” thinking that would be better. My doctor informed me it doesn’t matter how high the pillow is, your legs just need to be elevated higher than your heart/torso.

This is pretty big, and wonderfully comfortable!! I needed it post-surg and it was realllly fast shipping!! I’m really happy I chose this as it was super supportive and the shape and height was just the right fit. It never got too hot-thankfully! It kept cool and never lost its shape or distorted in any way. The pillow cover is so soft, and washable with ZERO shrinkage. I can 100% recommend this for anyone who needs to be raised up while sleeping or reclining and the 7.5” is just right. I’m now using it behind my back for when I’m crafting it’s just soooo plush and comfy!! (With the wide part on the bottom and the thin part up by my head. No back pain!!

As someone with bad acid reflux issues, I'd wake up in the morning feeling like I was choking. Most days I'd end up vomiting acid because I'd cough so much from how irritated my throat felt. I finally caved and bought this pillow and wow, it made such a massive difference for my sleep. Not only did I not feel sick at all in the morning, I had a very comfortable and deep sleep. Most nights I toss and turn and end up having to get up a lot to pee or something, but I ended up being on my back comfortably all night with almost no movement. The only downsides I've had so far are that it feels a little weird to lay on my side and my neck hurts a little by the time I wake up.
