This is the cutest pattern. Watch Donna Jordan's video on how to assemble it. She makes it look easy and it is a breeze to put together. Really!

Bought this pattern for a class I took. The pattern gives understandable directions and is easy to follow. The company, Cozy Quilt Designs, developed a special ruler to cut the pieces easily with this pattern. However, you don’t have to have the ruler to make the quilt, they give instruction for using your previously purchased rulers. But if you like this pattern and others that they have designed, you can use their ruler over and over in more of their designs. Well worth the money for the pattern (it’s beautiful) and also for their ruler as I’ve seen several other of their patterns I’m interested in making.

I do dearly love this pattern. Its multiple sizes are a great bonus. It's made almost entirely of half square triangles, which I love because there are infinite possibilities of how to use them.I did my quilt in reverse: a dark background of a midnight blue batik. It looks like stars in the night sky. It's a gift for a girl who is like my granddaughter for her college graduation. Her college had to do the graduation ceremony virtually because of the pandemic. This is the pattern I chose for her. And I intend to use this pattern a lot in the future. That being said, the author says to use her Strip Tube ruler for the half square triangles. However, if you use jelly rolls or any straight of grain strips, every half square triangle will have bias edges all around. The only way to avoid this if you use this ruler is to cut bias strips, and you still have bias edges to deal with which can easily stretch out of shape or distort. I've been teaching mainly beginning quilters and also more advanced quilters for 25 years. Dealing with all those bias edges is a recipe for disaster. It's why I don't teach diamonds, triangles, or hexagons to beginners - bias edges are a danger. There are many other methods, tools and rulers for cutting and sewing half square triangles that are far less frustrating and will make this pattern a success. If you choose to use the Strip Tube Ruler, I suggest using batiks and ironing with spray starch to get as stable an edge as possible. But I'm afraid that those who make this pattern as directed by the author may have a frustrating and unsatisfying product.

It was definitely not what was portrayed in the listing! I will probably be very hesitant to or off Amazon again
