It is hard to tell from the picture what which pieces go with the bushes and what goes with the house. Otherwise it’s a nice pattern. It is slow going.

I found and loved this pattern but hesitated as I have completed only one paper piecing project and was intimidated by the recommended skill level. Just had to try and I’ve completed my first block! I reviewed the freezer paper video I saved before I started to refresh myself. Glad I decided to jump into this one. Husband does think I am a bit nuts, however.

I love this pattern however, it is a little difficult to follow and I am a season quilter. I have not tried this pattern yet, but I will. Not sure if I would recommend this for a new quilter lots of cutting, but I look forward to using it. I will update my rating once I have started it.

My mom is an avid and expert level quilter and is excited by this pattern. What the packet contained was even better than she thought it would be. Not only are directions given to the overall design, but paper pattern cut outs for individual pieces are included as well.

I have quilted for many, many year but had not done much paper piecing which this pattern requires. It truly a charming patters full of opportunities for color play. This takes some patience with technique, but the results are stunning. Am almost finished with the quilt, and thought it would take months. Enjoy

I always wanted to build things but fabric was my first medium for creative efforts. With my kinda town I am crafting a town to my own liking. Quirky as can be and fun to do. As my first paper piecing project it was a little daunting, but watching some great YouTube videos on the topic helped get me over the learning curve. I suggest Sugaridoo as a wonderful channel for this technique. The pattern itself is well rendered and my only critique is that it would be easier to assemble if all the blocks were the same height or better yet, the same size or at least multiple of the same core block (1, 1.5, 2 etc). The randomness demands that you assemble it with some roadways in between the buildings, so make it fun and do something unexpected!
