This cooling comforter works significantly better than the cooling throws we have. The throws usually only feel cool for a few minutes before they adjust to body temperature, and then I'm hot again. This comforter stays cool long enough for me to fall asleep. And I don't wake up feeling hot an hour later. The decorative stitching helps hold the filling in place. But the stitching doesn't extend close enough to the edges. During the night, I wake up and notice that a portion of the quilt that is on me doesn't have the filler because the filler has shifted. For a person who sleeps in the middle of their bed (as opposed to sharing a bed), this would not be a problem. The cooling fabric is silky. It has a "granny" look and it's a little slippery. If one person kicks it off, if will slide off the bed entirely, leaving the other person uncovered as well. But even with those shortcomings, we like this comforter for how well the cooling fabric works.

I picked up the Cozy Bliss Cooling Comforter (King) hoping it would help with night sweats and overheating. While it definitely delivers on the cooling front, it is much lighter than I expected - almost a little too light for my taste.What I Love + Keeps You Cool: The dual-sided design really works. The "intense cooling" side is great for extra hot nights, while the "breathable" side gives a more subtle cooling effect. Compared to my old comforter, this one makes a noticeable difference and has helped reduce my night sweats. + Silky Soft Feel: The material is smooth and comfortable. I was worried it might feel slick or artificial, but it's actually really nice against the skin. + Easy to Wash: Tossing it in the washing machine is super convenient. After a few washes, it still looks and feels great—no pilling or tearing so far. + Safe Materials: It's OEKO-TEX certified, so I feel good knowing it's free of harmful chemicals.What I Didn't Love - Too Lightweight: This is where it lost me a bit. It feels more like a thin blanket than a comforter. Gone are the thick and heavy comforters, this new type of thinner and lighter comforter works so much better for me in any season and it does not feel as dusty as those thick comforters as well. Not sure if you have noticed or if it's just me :) but on a Sunny day, when I try to make my bed each morning with those thicker comforters, I can see a light cloud of dust rising from those thick comforters but with this newer thinner comforter, not as much. And yes, I do wash my comforters often in case you are wondering :). Anyway, this comforter came in an air-sealed bag and it was a little heavy when packed tight but after spreading it out on the bed and using it, it feels featherweight for sure. So according to the label or tag on this comforter, the front or top side is 90% Polyester, and the bottom or backside is 90% Nylon with the remaining 10% Spandex. I am not too sure about the Spandex portion, it does not feel like 10% Spandex stretch like with my pants but I could be wrong. Either way, it's not a big deal since this King size is more than big enough for my bed, no stretching needed :). Initially, both sides felt the same to the touch, very smooth and silky soft on the skin but having tried out both sides, one does feel a little cooler than the other, not much but noticeable to me. It's not like night and day different but it does feel a tad warmer on one side. To be honest, I can't tell the difference between Nylon and Polyester with this comforter just by touching and feeling. The important thing is that it feels cooler and more breathable than the regular thick comforters. and this one feels silky too, very comfortable and lightweight. The fabric may be Japanese but this was made in China. So I have not tried to wash it yet since it's brand new but it should be ok to machine wash cool and low tumble dry as labeled. The bottom line is, I would take this over the regular thicker comforter any night of the week :). It is well-made, very versatile, and durable as well.
