Love this product not sure why it made our pony chill out so much with the winter weather, but I’ve been a lifesaver

He was acting like he was a lot cabby, so decided to try this.Do not know if he has a ulcer but a trainer said it would not hurt him.He seems to be in a more positive manner than before.

This product has definitely helped my quarter mare. Have used 2x/day for 2 weeks now and there’s been a great improvement!! Lilly showed no distress with the fecal water just SO messy on her hind end and stinky. BTW… unscented cocoa butter baby wipes work great with wiping the mess from their back end. Spent 45 minutes wiping her with a soft washcloth, warm water and just a little baby shampoo. Got the same results from using a few baby wipes. 👍 also.. follow instructions on mixing the powder in some sweet feed, around 1/3 scoop of sweet feed. Use a fork to mix then add a little water and mix some more until you can’t see any powder. Put that mixture on top of the rest of the feed. Lilly is very picky when anything is added to her feed. She licks her corner feeder clean!!

My mare does not have ulcers, but does have fecal water syndrome. I would say this product reduced the issue by 75%. Worth it.

I have been using this product for my horse with a sensitive stomach for over a year now and it really seems to help her. I recommended this product to my niece who owns a few horses and she's happy with it as well. This product is a lot more economical that omeprazole is.

My 27-year-old Thoroughbred was showing ulcer symptoms (pawing in corners, overall mild distress) and following my vet's workup we took him off the bute he'd been on for years, did two tubes' worth of omeprazole paste with not much apparent success, then put him on twice-daily doses of this plus a devil's claw supplement for his arthritis, while continuing the different gastric buffer supplement he'd been on for years. It's been a couple of months now and the ulcer symptoms are gone; he's healthy and happy and eating just fine. I believe the U-Gard played an important part in his recovery, and I continue to give him a dose once per day, upping to twice a day on those occasions when he needs a dose of bute because his farrier is trimming him or it's arthritis weather.

These work amazing & my horses love it. I have some in my trailer & give a handful to my horse as a treat. Look the research on this product. It was done on horses at the racetrack in training. With in several months this product did reduce the size & severity of the ulcers. But it does say some horses needed more then the 1 scoop as directed on the package. If I have 1 with bad ulcers I give 2 or 3 scopes a day or twice a day. Just food for thought. Great product!!!

We have an Appaloosa that had coliced 3 times in a month and my vet, after eliminating impaction as a cause, thought it might be ulcers. I thought I'd try using an Anti-Acid before resorting to GastroGard. I first used human liquid anti-acids and a friend suggested that I try U-Gard pellets, as she was using them for her horse and they seemed to help. The Appy has been on the U-Gard pellets for nearly a month now and no colic!!! I give him 1 scoop 3 times a day over a cup of Oat-Alfalfa pellets before meals.
