This is a great addition to the garage/shop/tool box. The tool has the ability to easily cut sheet metal material with a pull of the trigger. The tool, being a “nibbler” takes small little bites out of the metal and it easily moves right along nibbling a bath through the metal.I have only tested it out by cutting up an old hack saw blade, and it is very easy to use and cut through the metal blade with ease.The only other metal cutters that I have are a DeWALT sheet metal shear drill attachment, and manual hand shears. Having a “nibbler” greatly steps up the ease of cutting sheet metal material, and provides custom turning and cutting ability that just can’t be done with the shears.This cordless nibbler tool kit comes with everything needed to operate right out of the box. The battery came with a full charge and one of the two nibbler end bits/ nibbler tip installed. There are apparently two different nibbler tips, I believe for different material metal, one of them is for harder stainless steel…I’ll definitely be exploring the potentials by getting some scrap material to practice with this very cool tool.This off-brand tool is compatible with Milwaukee 18V batteries. I have the majority of Makita 18V tools and many Makita 18V batteries and chargers, so I simply use the inexpensive adapters to be able to use the Makita 18V batteries with Milwaukee 18V or DeWALT 20V cordless tools.This is my first experience with a nibbler. Overall, this is a great addition to the garage tools. I’m looking forward to cutting metal projects with this great cordless nibbler.

This Metal Nibbler/Sheet Metal Cutter from Mayoki is a decent tool for the price for light duty use. It works well for it;s intended purpose, but I doubt it would stand up to constant use as good an authentic Makita tool would. At 1/4 of the price though, it's a good choice for someone who doesn't; want or need a heavier duty option.The tool comes neatly packaged in a plastic hard-case with all the accessories advertised. Mine also came with an additional spare collar. My genuine Makita batteries fit and work just fine on this tool. However, the battery that came with this tool is an extremely tight fit on my Makita tools. It does work, but it's really hard to get on and off. Not that I have a need to use it, but I just. thought I would call that out.Overall, I think it is a fine option for occasional use. If you plan on using a tool like this everyday, you may want to invest in something a bit more heavy duty.

Mayoki 18 Gauge Metal Nibbler Compatible with MakitaI have a manual nibbler, an air nibbler, and a double cut electric shear and this nibbler is my new favorite. All the others require either manual labor, or to be tethered to something. This one gives my a lot of freedom. I tried it out on a piece of sheet metal I cut off of a mower body, and it cut right through it like nobody's business. I left the head that came with it installed, but there is the option to change it out for use on material of different thicknesses. Comes in a nice carrying case, with one battery and charger, not too bad of a deal at all.

This Mayoki brand sheet metal nibbler came with an 18-volt battery that is Makita compatible. The battery runs Makita stuff, and my Makita compatible batteries will run the nibbler. The nibbler comes with two heads, a round bite head, and a square bite head. When you turn it on with the included battery, it builds up speed over a few seconds, and gets louder. The nibbler did an excellent job of cutting through some light sheet steel and aluminum. When using the square cutting head, it cuts in a nice straight line, very quickly. The round head cuts a more jagged line. It's best to cut over a bucket or something, because otherwise it will drop bits of metal all over your floor.I was really pleased with the job this tool did.

Has two cutting assemblies round and square, the round cuts much slower. Used on 28 gauge roof metal, cut width on 20+ (38") panels on single battery. Higher rpm would be nice = faster, but for my project it works fine.
