Used on my urethane clear finish on some wood projects for the house. Turned the as-sprayed gloss to a mirror-like glass finish!

I do not recommend. Disgusting and useless tool. It stops with minimal pressure. It is impossible to polish the surface with this machine.

Just what the doctor ordered to cure road rash and occasional jealous or vindictive parking lot random encounter. just the right weight and has a good strong motor removes the superficial scratches at a great price point

This polisher worked perfectly! Battery life is good. I believe I used 3 batteries for three step process (compound, Polish, wax) on a F250 crew cab! LIke others have said the battery is a bit loose and rattles but I just stuck a piece of cardboard in between and solved that issue. For the price you can't beat it.

Cordless Car Polisher for Dewalt 20V Battery, 8 Variable Speed Up to 7000RPM Brushless Random Orbital Polisher, 6-Inch Cordless Buffer Polisher for Car Detailing/Polishing/Waxing, Tool OnlyMy son was backing out of our driveway and his mirror brushed against our truck, leaving some paint transfer and a light scratch. I had recently received this cordless buffer/polisher and decided to see if I could get the paint and scratch out. Having never used one of these before, I assumed there would be instructions telling which pad was best to use in different situations. I was wrong. The instructions are pretty minimal and were really worthless. I had to search the internet to figure out which would be best, but even that offered mixed results. I worked it out through trial and error and was able to get most of the scratch out. My DeWalt battery worked with this polisher, and it performed like it should (as far as I can tell without instructions). It did take off some of the clearcoat on my truck so I’m going to have to bring it in and get it professionally repaired anyway. In the future, I won’t use it for anything except applying wax.

Good polisher for a beginner, good case with a nice set of attachments ready to use.I had dun polishing my car and didn't need to deal with the cords.
