Doing a radiator replacement on my 335i if you know BMW it’s important to get it under vacuum. The cone connector fits the expansion tank.I haven’t been able to use it yet because when I tried last night the connector to the fill hose exploded. The snap ring that holds all the bearings and springs together isn’t strong enough.The hoses that are included in the kit are very thin walled I don’t expect they would hold enough vacuum to fill the system. I imagine they would suck closed easily.So after a $23 trip to Lowe’s I have barbed firings and nylon re enforced hose.I give it 4 stars for the price however if you go with this one buy a barbed fitting and some stronger hose.

So, I have not used the product yet, I have it because on some cars when you need to refill or add to the cooling system, you can get an air gap or bubble and the only way to get it out is to use this tool!! I'ts cost is worth having around compared to the old days when this would have been a $150 tool. Not all cars will need this, but you don't know, so for us home mechanics, it's worth having in case, because going to your mechanic to do this would run you about $200-300 dollars to perform I'm sure, and some shops don't have this tool!

This is surprisingly high quality for the price point. Everything was packaged nicely and it worked exactly as described. It does take a pretty high volume of air but my midsized compressor was easily able to keep up

This tool works great. It does need a different angle on the air hose connector. Being at a vertical angle makes it difficult for the hose connection, but can be corrected easily.
