Be very careful with this item. It appeared to be exact same as original Ford part. I installed and took truck for a test drive. About 5 minutes in I had steam pouring out under hood. Checked and immediately noticed that sensor had blown out of thermostat housing. Reinstalled, secured with retainer clip, and was able to pull sensor right out of block. So I put the old one back in, secured with clip and was NOT able to pull from block. Though not visible to the eye, this sensor is "smaller" and slides out right past the retainer clip. Unfortunately I did not install right away so have lost my return window. A clear case of sometimes you are better off spending the extra dollars for a known quality product.
