I installed and it does shows the temperature but still showing on the scanner,,,and sometimes the car hesitate and show a message about temperature sensor

Removal and installation went well. It was a bit tight because of space but the whole thing took about 30 minutes. It cleared my "Over Temperature AC turned off." Been over 1000 miles and still working fine.

Our 2014 Acadia was showing sporadic readings on the temp gauge and air conditioning wouldn’t run. Found out that faulty coolant temp sensors tend to cause these symptoms as the ECU sends the system into “protect mode” to prevent damage to other systems. Replacing this part fixed the issue, but it was somewhat of a bear to get to in order to replace the old one.

It's a coolant sensor. Bosch is a well respected brand when it comes to automotive parts, and this was no different. Fit and connecting was not a problem- at least as far as the part is concerned. GM has it placed in a bit of a awkward place however... Tips- if replacing this- a deep 19 mm is necessary- needs to be deep enough to go over the connector end. Also, make sure you have any connectors you disconnected firmly reconnected- I had a misfire code after a day or so- connector not quite completely reseated on a coil pack

The OEM engine coolant temp sensor failed on our 2016 Chevy Traverse. Was pleased to find that, after pulling the original unit out, this was an identical replacement - same brand and part number stamped into the sensor. Nice that it came in a standard and correctly labeled Bosch parts bag as well. Maybe we'll get 125K miles out of this one too.

If you get an unusual fan type symbol popping up on your display, it could mean that the temperature sensor is no longer in spec. That's what happened to me, and this unit solved the problem.
