This 120 volt Federal Pacific Electric, 15 amp, single pole, thin series replacement circuit breaker is used in a Federal Pacific (FPE) load center. Typical applications, up to 1,800 watts, include fixed lighting circuits, branch circuits, wall receptacles, electric motors (1/4 hp to 1/2 hp), attic fans and garbage disposals. These are only suggested applications and cannot assure compliance with all local codes. Please check local electrical codes before starting any electrical project.

I wasn't 100% sure if this was going to be what I needed for my stab-lok breaker box because they are slightly different colors. However, it was for a 20amp and a 15amp they fit perfectly! Kitchen is back up and running! These parts were no where locally. Had to order online.

I've got an FPE panel in my home and after reading about all the issues with breakers NOT TRIPPING when they should, naturally I became concerned. I learned these breakers were independently tested by ITEK and performed as they should. I replaced every breaker with this style, following normal protocols, 14 gauge got 15a, 12 gauge got 20a and so on.I'm happy to report it performed the way it should have when it was called upon to do so. I overloaded a bedroom circuit by running too many items and once and it tripped. First time I can remember being happy that a breaker tripped. Yes, 2 computers, a ceiling fan and 500w of light is OK, just don't start running a vacuum cleaner on top of it, that's too much load on a bedroom circuit!
