Applications
The anchor is made from Carbon Steel, and is Zinc Plated. This anchor is designed for use in Concrete, Block, and Brick.
Environment
The anchor is designed for use in a Dry environment.
Head Style
The anchor is a Flat Countersunk head and is designed to prevent the head from protruding above the surface of the item being attached.
Hole Diameter/Bit Diameter
The anchor requires a 3/8" hole to be drilled in the base material (Concrete, Block, and Brick). The hole should be drilled with carbide tipped bit that meets ANSI standards and used in a hammer drill.
Diameter of Anchor
The diameter of the anchor is 3/8".
Length Anchor
The length of the anchor is 4"
Minimum Embedment
The minimum anchor embedment into the concrete is 1-1/4". Therefore, the anchor must be installed so that a minimum of 1-1/4" of the anchor is embedded into the concrete.
Maximum Fixture Thickness
The maximum fixture thickness or the maximum thickness of the material being fastened for a anchor is 2-3/4". This will ensure that the minimum embedment of 1-1/4" will be met.
Fixture Hole Diameter
The hole in the fixture or material being fastened must be larger than the designated diameter of the anchor. The 3/8" diameter anchor requires the hole in the fixture to be 1/2".
Spacing between Anchors
Each anchor must be spaced a minimum distance of 3-3/4" from each other when measured center to center.
Edge Distance
It is very important not to install the anchor any closer than 1-7/8" from an unsupported edge of the concrete.

These things are made so chinsy that I couldn't even get them to work. Total waste of money. I bought some Hilti brand anchors and they work fine. I'll be getting at least a partial refund.

I try to use in cinderblock was to small for my project so it either went to deep and did not have enough room to drill into 1x4 or it went to deep an just fell through the cinderblock( short case they were just to small in length for what I needed)

Make sure your hole is 3/4 of an inch I had to use percussive force to get them to go into my hole and I bent one the hole was not the correct diameter and length. These are holding up a shelf in a plaster wall over brick.

IMPORTANT: The Phillips head screw is also a sleeve (inner threads). The anchor is a sleeve around a stud that will stick out of your concrete.Given the picture and the description, I thought that the sleeve left in the concrete would be flush and receive a Phillips head screw. But, they appear to be good/high quality. Even though I found a different solution at my local hardware store, I am keeping them for possible future projects rather than return.

I wanted to mount two rows of 2x4s on a stucco covered cinder block wall. They seem to have worked well as the boards seem rock solid and should provide a great support for the trellises I plan to attach to them. Drilling the holes deep enough was a little tricky at first, but I got the hang of it after a couple. I only needed 20, but I ruined several while learning, so I was glad I bought well more than I needed. I was a bit Leary as to whether I bought the right length, and perhaps 1/2 inch shorter would have worked better, but all seems fine.
