Good quality and great price. The only thing that would make it better is if it had a case.

Little bit longer than what I thought I was getting. I had to adapt my conducting style to accommodate the unbalanced nature of this baton. I'm used to a balance point right where the pommel meets the baton. the balance point for this is a good 2 inches past the pommel... This unbalanced nature, like any tool, creates additional strain. True this is not an unbalanced hammer but unbalanced is unbalanced and for hours long use it will take time to adjust both conducting style and conducting stamina to it. Good news is it's construction is sturdy so at least it won't likely be destroyed while you try to adapt.
