Is it the best foam you can get for chip storage? YESVery expensive...I purchased 2 sheets (almost $40).They are supposed to be 12"x24"...Both were 12"x23".You would think they could give you 25" just to be sure you get what you paid for.

Restoring my 40 year old speakers and from the factory, the crossovers had a foam under the board to prevent over flexing when plugging in driver wires. After 40 years, the original just crumbled with touch. This was a perfect replacement. I just have enough left for another 400 years or so.

Was looking for a safe way to store my microcontrollers and found the Jameco BenchPro Anti-Static foam in a large 24 x12 inch sheet! It's the same quality and texture Anti Static Foam we used to store our CMOS chips on, the type that RS used to sell back in the day. Using some sharp scissors, it cut nicely without shedding and ripping. We were able to cut it down to fit into a clear A4 portable file case. This makes it easy to protect our microcontrollers from static and keep them organized where you can view them easily! We have ordered 3 of the 24 inch x 12 inch sheets at different points in time and received the same quality foam each time. Will order from this seller again, really a great quality product.Photos are:1. Close up of material.2. The Anti Static Foam Cut to fit A4 Storage case.
