This case is every bit as durable and solid as a pelican. Latches are secure. Foam is easy to tear apart and fit to whatever you are putting inside. Very impressive for the price.

I got this hard travel case for my husband for his guns, but when it arrived I was surprised at how big it is. My son-in-law is a sound engineer and a photographer, so I asked him if it would be better for him instead, for his equipment when he traveled. He looked at me like I was crazy to give it up, but happily obliged.It comes with 3 layers of foam that are customizable to whatever you are using it for - cameras, sound equipment, guns, etc. The exterior is waterproof and buckles closed easily. The rubber seal inside is of excellent quality and it closes easily and seamlessly. It can be locked. It has a padded grip making it easier to carry. It is a little heavy but that is to be expected with the protection it provides.As a newly-minted Texan, I am proud to hear this is made in Texas! I highly recommend this hard travel case.

Very pleased with this case. The case is very solid. The only give is in the very center and that is extremely minimal - maybe a few millimeters if that.The buckles are heavy duty and well made. The handle has a little rubber on it to keep things comfortable.I was not familiar with this brand when I ordered, but they have earned my trust. I would fully trust this to store and carry pistols or camera equipment.Great product!!!

The case was bigger than I thought it would be, which is a big plus! I'll be able to hold multiple handgun in this case. It feels really sturdy and has places you can put a padlock for traveling. I'm extremely happy with this case!

Need a big ballistic or technical equipment case you can trust? Here it is. Made in Texas and built to be strong but still with manageable weight the lock tabs are reinforced and the hinge is rock solid. There is a pressure release making it FAA compliant and the fit of the silicone seal is precise to keep out dust, atmospheric agents and water within reason. It is IP67 rated for contents protection if carried in the rain and is theoretically waterproof for short duration at shallow depth submersion.Inside there are multiple layers of customizable foam for sizing it specifically to your particular camera and lenses, field equipment, DJ gear or firearms so they won't rattle around or bump up against one another whether you're headed around town or cross country. This is a well thought out product and meant to compete with the best in its field, which it certainly does well. It is not a light in weight case when it comes to carrying but then again you wouldn't expect it to be. It isn't prohibitively heavy at around 8 pounds however and the padded grip is comfortable in the hand.The standard of the industry molded cases - you know, the ones named after the bird with the front end loader bill - don't have anything to offer that this Condition 1 branded case doesn't have too. Designed with insight and made with care.

I needed another 1485 so thought I'd check the available options and found this Condition 1 22" case. Short version: I like it a lot -- particularly over most all the other knock-off brands out there. Compared directly to a 1485, the plastic is about 30% lighter/thinner (adds flex), the lock holes lack metal reinforcement, interior corners are rounded off (lose a bit of interior volume for certain loads), and that's about it. For those of you who absolutely need max protection, 1400 series is still the way to go. But for anyone who just needs really solid protection, and likes saving 50%, these are a great option. No issues with basic function, operation, or construction quality at all. Its basically just a slightly lighter duty build. (Note that I didn't test water resistance but seals appear solid.)

Pretty nice case.Pros:Well made.Lockable.Vented.Several layers of padding.Overall, a pretty good case. Not as heavy duty as the Pelican Case, but a good substitute. The layers of foam are already cut in to small blocks making it easy to carve out whatever size space you need.

This case is really impressive. Whatever your purpose is. The shell is very thick and extremely rigid I tried to flex the cover and it won't budge at all. Inside continue to impress, 3 layer of dense foam that can be custom fit to your equipment. Rubber seal around the edge is well placed with great alignment. These are top quality and can compete with any name brand out there.
