I liked the fact this fit perfectly. Post installation adjustments were not required. Installation was smooth and the feature allowing for different door thicknesses is probably the most reassuring feature upon opening the package.

Loved the solid, secure feeling of this lock. Easy to figure out what to do, and didn't need to look up additional installation info off the web. Our mailbox is older than I am, so the design had changed slightly and I had to remove part of the provided pressure plate to make it fit, then sand that down and use a little epoxy to fill a gap from the old design. Despite that, very pleased with product and would recommend it without reservations.

Clock is not counter clockwise. I am replacing the same exact lock which is counter clockwise. This one is reverse. Does not include all necessary components.

I got a counter clockwise lock the first time around. Swapped out an existing lock when I started having issues inserting the key. Changing it out took less than 5 minutes. As mentioned, make sure you save the pieces from an existing lock. Key mechanism is a little rough but at least I can be sure I can open my mailbox now.

Replacing my old lock with this one was super easy. Unfortunately, all the keys are super rough and keep getting stuck when I try to take them out after locking the mailbox. Planning to return this product.
